Dear ICEP AIT participants,

Another Academic Immersion Travel is happening in Germany! On behalf of the International Collaboration and Exchange Program (ICEP Global) and our ICEP Global partners at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the Charité University Berlin, Germany, I would like to welcome you to our annual Academic Immersion Travel 2025 (ICEP AIT). ICEP Global is expanding to provide you with networking and leadership skills for future collaborations. The AIT was initiated to deepen your understanding of different cultures and medical systems around the world.

Over the past semesters you met online and some of you in person. Past AIT conferences have shown that the AIT will intensify the networking and learning about different cultures and scientific knowledge in different parts of the world. You are the ambassadors for your universities and I cannot emphasize enough how proud I am that you, our next generation of doctors, scientists, and healthcare professionals, are fulfilling our ICEP Global mission.

I cannot be more grateful to the partners in Halle and Berlin for hosting us, and I hope you will appreciate all the efforts that the organizing team has put into action for you.

I would like to thank the organizing students and their teams and committees for putting together an amazing program for you. Thank you to Dinet Ahmed, Michael Göckeritz, Pius Schachter, Markus Bögner, and Yoo-Yong Lee for leading their local teams.

I am looking forward to the discussions and, most importantly, to watching how your friendships will develop into collegial partnerships over time.
